Default Blower Heater

I have a 2002 Sportage and the heater motor just gave out. I have taken the motor out and tested it and it works fine. I am sort of at a lose as to what could be wrong. Some recent replies suggested the blower motor resistor but I need pictures to show me what I am looking for. Also pictures of which fuse runs the motor as that could be a problem. Not quite sure how to test the fuses and relays to see if they work.

Thumbs up

I have not worked on your model but it is usually located on the blower unit where the wiring plugs in. Undo the screws on the blower where the harness meets it and the resistor consisting of wire resistance coils is usually under the terminal block inside the blower housing. If it is the resistor they usually only lose one speed at a time and not all at once. The fuse is usually marked as blower or fan. Hope this was of help to you, best of luck.
