If you remove the inner door trim you should be able to get at the connecting rods to the lock if you pull on them you should be able to get door to open. Give the lock a spray with wd40 or similar first. If you have a manual gearbox the knob should just screw off anticlockwise, try some plumbers teflon tape on the thread to tighten it up and then put knob back on. If that doesn't solve it you might have to check to see if the gearlever bushes are ok and the lever itself is tightened up properly. Hope this helps.
