1995 KIA Sportage

Just got KIA out of shop with a whooping $900 bill. New Fuel Pump, new filter, new MAP sensor, but after drive the freeway it begins to buck and engine idle goes to 0! Have to stop and spray Carb Cleaner to get it going. Any ideas?

I think it would help if you provided a little more detail - what was done on the car for the $900 - was this work done by the dealership, what's the history of problems, what's the service history, .......

That Elan is nice, licensed from Lotus. Never knew it existed. Does it have the round KIA logo on it that just says KIA motors?

Thanks - It has the elliptical badge with KIA on the hood, and the badges on the wheel centres has the Kia logo with the words Kia motors.
