Drive cycle issues
Searching for folks that have not been able to get their 96 Sportage to fully drive cycle. We own a shop and have for 20+ years and have never seen a vehicle fail to drive cycle without a failure.
A little history. Battery was replaced 1.5 years ago appx 13K miles. Vehicle has been going without a complete cycle for all 13K miles. Spent $3K at dealer for new o2 sensors, cat ecu and wiring harness. Paid dealer to drive cycle and just cut them off at $1k in driving labor. Our own techs have run through the factory drive cycle hundred of times with no luck.
With only 57K miles on this vehicle it would be a shame to just scrap it. Any experience with issue would be appreciated.
