Default PVC Valve

Can anyone tell me where to locate the PVC valve on my 2002 Kia Sportage?
I would like to replace it.
Thanks,
Joe

I have an 02 Conv and it is located on the IM about in the middle of the engine just below where the air intake/throttle-body enters the IM... its got about a 6" long hose that snakes back to the IM from the VC... if it stops raining here soon, I'll post a pic of it here.

Harry,
I just replaced my PVC valve. Thanks to you and you picture! I NEVER would have found the valve without the picture. As a matter of fact I almost didn't find it with the picture.

I have another question. I am getting ready to change the oil in my 02 Kia. I am thinking about using synthetic oil. What are your thoughts about synthetic oil? I have 72000 miles on the car.

Thanks

I have mixed emotions on that -- it kind of depends on howmuch money you want to spend, at least now-a-days, given the price of petrol related products. If money is not an object, then go with the synthetic stuff... I did do that on my 02 Conv for the first 100k miles or so, but then when the price started to leap upwards, I went back to the reqular AutoZone stuff (about 1/4 the cost of Mobil-1). Given this, I've got about 170k miles on my 02 Conv at this point and it is purring like a kitten.
