Exclamation Help

We have a 2001 Kia sportage. When I turned the corner it died. Now it won't start. Cranks over great. Acts like it isn't getting any gas. Any ideas?

Denny

Take the oil filler cap off and have someone else turn over the engine, while you look down into the oil filler snout and see if the valves are moving -- if they are not moving, then the timing belt has likely snapped... about a $100 deal (+4 hours) if you do it yourself, or, about $450 if the dealer does it.

If the timing belt is intact take a look at the pink 30amp fuse in the engine compartment fuse box, mine blew and would crank but not start.
