Default aricon belt

i sorry to post again but just want to know if its ok to leave the aircon belt off please help has the noise is driving me mad cheers

taken belt off aircon but stiil the sqeeling still there starting to wonder
if it is the bearings in the water pump can any one tell me were the bearings are thanks

were thr thermastat is is thant thewater pump or is the pary connected to the fan part cheers

This has happened to me a few times on my 02 Conv (170k miles). Most likely it's caused by one of the belts just wearing and becoming loose. As a temporary fix you could try just spraying some belt dressing on the business surface of the belt(s) and see if the noise goes away. Normally you change all three at the same time (less than $50 and an hour or so of your time).

thanks belts are fairly new just wondering weather to change water pump cheers gary

hi just been on the wd40 on the pullysnoice went then came back after couple minits but have got it down to two pullys first one is on the left hand side facing the kia under the aircon pully at the bottom when i put wd40 0n it the noise gos can some one tell me witch pully this called is it part of the aircon has the belt gos from that to i think is the water pump or have i got it the wrong way round please help cheers gary

With the belt off a/c should turn freely, water pump should turn smoothly, idler pulley (tensioner) should spin easy.
