Oliver

Did you have this problem before you changed the plugs ?

Did this problem happen suddenly ?

Is the check engine light ON ?

Harry

And the engine ligth is off.

before the change kia workings fine, I placed the old spark plug and works best, but the problem still persists.

OK, so it sounds like something that was removed to get at the spark plugs is either damaged or loose.

The large throttlebody tubing contains several electronic sensors -- make sure they are OK... no broken wires, etc. Also, where the throttlebody intake tube connects there is a gasket -- make sure that it is not damaged.

That code points to a lean condition which most often is an inlet manifold vacuum leak, but not the only possibility.
Make sure that the flexible rubber pipe between the MAF and the throttle body is in good condition.

Also make sure that the spark plug gaps are at 0.75mm - many documents specify a 1.0mm gap which is incorrect.

Oliver

Given the circumstances, I agree with Ron -- likely a vacuum leak of somekind... especially if you hear a "hissing" noise on the top of the engine.

Next would be the fuel filter (to remove, just push inward each connector, then squeeze the release points, then pull outward to remove).

Finally, I would guess the MAF sensor, which is easily tested -- warm the engine and find the pin #4 wire (Red/Green) and see if the voltage is between 0.8 volts and 1.2 volts at idle; then, increase the RPM to 2000 RPM and see if the voltage is between 3.5 volts and 4.0 volts... if not, then replace it (about $90 at AutoZone).

Thank Harry,

I check the MAF Sensor in the pin 4 wire (red/green) and the voltage is 0.8 volts and 1.2 volts at idle, but when increase the RPM tu 2000 RPM the voltage is 1.6 volts.

thank for you help.

Oliver.
