Cool ac blows hot when not moving

For some reason the AC blows hot when our sportage is stopped. It blows okay as long as you are moving. We have had it looked at and they couldnt find anything wrong. We live in Arizona and air is kinda necessary! Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like air is not being forced over the condensor in front of the radiator. Look through the grill toward the passenger side and you will see an electric fan. This fan should come on when the air is on. If it doesn't come on then it will produce the symptom you are describing. I have seen this missed by mechanics because they see the big fan in the engine compartment and don't think to look at the auxillary fan outside. Thats my only shot. Worth looking at thouugh....Good Luck
