Default Warn Hubs

I'm new to this forum (and to Kia) and have found this site very useful. Now to my problem, I have discovered that one of my front hubs is locked in all the time and the other one is not locki ng in at all. I have checked and replaced the vacume lines and I have noticed that the vacume activation switch seems to be open all the time. This could explain the right hub being locked in all the time. I figured the best option would be to replace the hubs with a set of manul locking hubs. The problem I am having is that I live in the far north of Western Australia and the local Auto parts dealer can't find replacement hubs for me. I have found a set on Amazon but the years that they fit doesn't match my Sportages year.

My sportage is a 2002 2.0 litre 4 door 4wd, the models covered by the hubs on Amazon are for 1995-2001. Does any one know if these are compatable with my vehicle?

Default Warn hubs

I had the samething happen with mine. I bought the Warn hubs for $250 and if you goto the Warn hub site they say that they will work on a 2002. $250 a hell of alot cheaper than the $3k that was quoted to me to replace front end vacuum seals on axle.

Default Warn Manual Hubs part # 60247

I have recently fitted these manual hubs to replace the auto ones (due to vacuum seal leaks) and it since it snowed yesterday, I had a good opportunity to test them out and they worked a treat !
I selected back to 2 wheel drive just to see the difference and with 2 wheel I got skidding. Back to 4 wheel drive and it works perfectly.
Good investment. Bought them from 4x4 Parts and Accessories: UK Importer of Off Road Products, Warn and Hi-Lift Products. an agent in Stourbridge, UK.
Hope this is of help.
