2008 Kia Sportage radio removal

Good day

Please help. I want to replace the non mp3 playing audio system in my new Sportage with a mp3 playing system, but don't know how to go about it.

I managed to unclip the bottom of the brushed aluminium trim panel, but got stuck undoing it any further. About 1/3 from the bottom up this said panel it is attached to the dashboard by, I suppose another set of clips, but I don't know how to undo them, as pulling upwards on the trim panel will result in bending it. What would be the procedure to remove this panel?

Are there any adaptors available if one wants to replace the double din radio with a normal radio?
