Hello, im from portugal and bougt a Kia sportage 99 in last november, it looked okay but it was not. It fells like when is running a bit stuck and in a second it bursts and go crazy geting really fast and making a lot of black smoke. I already changed a lot of partes, Turbo, acelarator indicator, repared the injection pump, and many more things that i dont know how to say in english. Its a diesel 2.0. I dont know what else to do, he was more time in kia now that with me, it gave an error acusing the ERG??(i think it is like this) and the fix it but it stils making the same thing. If anyone around had a problem similar to this please help cause i am desperate.
Thank you all in advance.

I'm not a guru on this subject, especially Kias with diesel engines. But, that sounds like a transmission problem. It almost sounds like when you think you're in first gear, you're actually in second gear and vice versa. If it's manual transmission, try starting in second gear, and then going to first gear. Be careful not to tear up your transmission though if you haven't already.
