Cool

At a minimum, it will affect your perceived fuel mileage.
It may also affect handling slightly, as it does have a minor affect on the alignment.
JFTR, I used to be a VW mechanic in the 60's and for a while in the 70's. Amongst other things, I went to school for front end alignment.

The rim size 15x10? That may create issues with clearance, what is the offset and back spacing on those rims?

Thanks for yuor coments the specs on the rims are:
15x10, 5 on 5.5 Bolt Pattern ; Backspacing = 3.75 in. ; Finish = Black Powder Coat.

I could use the 15x8 also the backspacing is the same.

thanks.

The 15x10's may stick out too much and cause you to hit the fender lip and the inner fender well!

I have 15x8 also with a 3 3/4" offset and 30" tyres if I didn't have a 2" lift they would seriously rub the fender lip, i had to do some trimming on the lower part of the front bumper as well!

Youre 255 70 15's will be almost the same as my 30's (29.1") in size, so i'd expect to see some rubbing, and expect to do some trimming, regardless of wether you go with 15x8 or 15x10's.

However 30" tyres will fit on stock rims with no rubbing issues, however they are 15x7's and the off set is diffrent!
