Default Installing DRL 2001 Sportage?

I recently moved from the US to Canada and now daytime running lights are required.

I have an aftermarket DRL kit that requires me to hook into the following wires but I am not sure which wire and which color of the wire to connect to in the headlight harness. I plan on mounting the DRL device on the passenger side under the hood near the battery. My idea is to connect to the headlight wires there.

The kit requires me to connect one wire to the following:

High Beam feed wire
Low Beam feed wire
Keyed 12V Ignition Power
Parking Brake Switch (says usually connected to the low side [switched side] of the dash mounted brake indicator lamp)

I have tried the GDS site but I am unable to make any heads or tails of the wiring information there.

thanks in advance!
