Electrical system Sportage 2001 (Windows control)

Hey,

The windows are not operating in My Kia.

Started with one window, and we tried replacing the switches (moving them around) with the guys in the agency, but it did not work.

Does anybody had a similar experience? Just a fuse?

Just had to fix mine. It was the motor and it is not cheap around 200.00 from KIA. First they did the switch and then the motor. First the window started going up and down very slow and then the motor just quit.

And the problem is on the rear windows too.

Do you know where is there is like a mother-control board for both?

Just to share the info,

The problem with the rear mirror, and the door windows (and even A/C) was a 10V fuse (the box close to the the clutch pedal).

It seems that this kia model have fuses in series, so one fail, the rest does...

It seems to be working now,
