Default HOLD message on Radio

I just changed the battery in my daughters 2001 KIA Sportage. Now when car is turned on it runs great but radio flashs the station that it is on and after about 3 minutes it stops playing what ever station it is on and on the radio it says HOLD. Anyone have any idea's how to enter a code to clear this problem.

Default I found it

After searching on the net I found the code its 1111. If it says HOLD then you might have to take it to the dealer to get reset. If you have to do that then it might be cheaper to go to Best Buy and get a new stereo.

Talking 'Hold message' help

Solution:
Turn radio off then back on. If mesasge is still there undo negative terminal to battery for a couple seconds. Radio should then be blinking when turned on.
There are 6 'channel selection' buttons. Push that first button once. This will cause a '1' to display. Then push the 2nd channel selection button once. This will cause a '1' to be displayed next to the '1' which is already dispalyed. Do this with the 3rd and 4th channel selection buttons causing a '1111' to be displayed. Then push the Volume button in as if you are trying to select the treble, bass, etc. Then push it again. Your FM and cd and everything will now work like normal. This is called entering a 1111 code into your radio.
