Default Fog Lights/Warranty

I have an 06 Sportage LX. I've got about 37,000km on it and both fog lights are burned out already. I went back to the dealer and was told that the only lights that are covered under the warranty are the actual head lights. This ticked me off because although I didn't read the warranty manual word for word, everything I heard about Kia and one of the reasons I decided to go to them was that they "have the best warranty in the business". When I had my Mazda it was a true bumper to bumper warranty and Kia does not seem to have that.

Another thing is the "holy cow" strap on the passenger side was quite loose. They tightened it for me, but it's neither straight or tight.

I know these are small things in the greater scheme of things but they really make me loose confidence and the lights are $30 each.

Has anyone else ran into the same kinds of things, things that you thought should be covered and turned out not to be?
