Default 2000 Kia Sportage Heater hose

Csn anyone tell me exactly where the heater core hoses are on the radiator? I have a 2000 Kia Sportage and the heater is blowing cold air. I was going to flush the hoses, but not sure where they are at. Any help?

IIRC the heater core (under dash) pipes exit from the left hand side of the engine bay against the firewall near the exhaust manifold. They connect to the block of the engine , one near the thermostat (RHS exit) and one near the bottom front LHS of the engine on an alloy bracket/hose (other end of which goes to bottom radiator hose).

Have you checked the coolant level in the radiator?, Have you topped up the overflow chamber on the left hand side of the engine bay to the prescribed line?

A WARNING: Take extreme care with the heater core as it is easy to break the hose connections to it, and it is a PITA job to replace the core (factor in about 2 days work!!! 14 hrs or so...).
