as you copied and pasted from the other forum, I'll do the same
I'm getting a little tired of people saying that Kia/Hyundai deliberated lied or deceived, there is no proof of this, yes they made a mistake, they acknowledged it and they are compensating you for the error they made. If they were out to deceive you, they could have easily just made the correction in fuel rating and that's it, just left at that. To me, what they are doing is to be commendable, they were not required to do that.
People just speculate what they think happened at Kia/Hyundai, they don't work there, so they don't really know what happened. So your are telling me that no one has never made a mistake when working for a company or business - or have we got a lot of perfect people out there? And if you made a honest mistake and everyone was telling you that you lied and your were out to deceive the business - how would you feel?
Just puzzled as to how you can drive non-stop for 5 hours and not even stop for a break/meal or gas
I will give you a driving style: 60 miles per hour on a flat free way from St. Louis to Chicago, cruise control set - driving NONSTOP for 5 hours. Calculated MILES PER GALLON = 28.... (I have done this trip 3 times - same result each time).
