Oh well, if thats my biggest problem in life I'm in good shape!

I was told the same exact thing about remote start for my 09 Optima. It really pisses me off that they release a car without the "promised" accessories. I was also told aftermarket install would void warranty on the electronic system.

The only way they can enforce that no warranty thing is if they can prove the accessory installed is what caused the failure.
In other words...if you install the remote starter...and all of a sudden your stereo begins acting up...they're not going to void the warranty.
Now if the starter got fried they may be able to prove the accessory caused it...up to you I guess. Good luck

Default Oceanside

Are you in Oceanside, CA? I haven't been there since 1989 when i was in the Marines! Moved from there to 29 Palms till 1992. Drove through in 04 from Mexico to Ventura Beach. Probably nothing like it was then.

Cool

Just finished installing Rosie's new headlamp accents and mud guards. Super simple, although the front wheels had to come off for the guards. I really love the way they look with the Titanium paint. My dealer didn't have the rear bumper protector, they said it is not available yet. Anybody have one yet? Next will be flat black rally stripes.
