Default timing belt
I made enquiries with my garage about timing belt change he said that my sorento does not have a belt but a chain can anyone confirm this?

You do need to change it but that depends on how many miles or Kilometers you've done so far....

Got mine changed at 60,000 Km (as per the maint. schedule)

What year is your Sorento? If it between 2003 - 2006 then timing belt, 2007 and up - chain.
