Default Grease fittings

The zerk fittings are standard. On a 03 2 x 4 drive Sorento (USA) there are 4. One on each u-joint and one on the spline. I took a 10 mm wrench and turned the fitting (they screw in or out) just a little bit (either way) to better line up the fitting so gun tip will fit. You don't say which Y/M/Engine/Tranny or what Mileage it has, but if you have a 2WD be sure to check the Carrier bearing rubber mount. If it's under warranty and its starting to split or get deteriorated get it in to be changed.

As the others said they are all standard fittings nothing special. But I will tell you if the vech has 12,700 on it now and was last done at 6500. It is a good possiblity that the powerful air luber the dealer or garage used made it so the next time you do it with as you are, a hand unit it will be next to impossible. Two ways to solve this delema.

1) go to a garage and have them power lube it again.
2) if you must do it yourself for your own reasons. Take the zerks out and clean them with brake cleaner or carb/gum cutter good. And then air dry or air blow them out. Then put back and you should be able to get the low pressure hand gun to pump lube in them. Also many people do not lube them enough. The proper way is to yes make a mess. Pump lube in it till it comes out all over the joint from the bearing caps. Make sure the old back or brown lube with the dirt and water comes out. And you start to get the green or light color lube you are using out making the mess. And then take a shop rag and clean it off. That way it is for sure lubed everywhere internally with FRESH new lube.
