you will find lots of posts on the brakes...not being tooo good ..many have changed to aftermarket slotted and drilled ...warping is a problem with the orignials
If you fill in your details ..lile where you are in the world andwhat car you have it would help us alll....see my details as an example
I have purchased dimpled and slotted rotors from www.brakeperformance.com and have had great success with them. Also make sure that your wheels are torqued with a hand wrench every time the tires are rotated or you have one off to be fixed.

how are the dimpled and slotted rotors holding up?
I replaced my 04 EX rotors and brake pads (60,000 miles) with the drilled and slotted brake performance rotors and ceramic pads in August. No more pulling, vibrating, pulsating and galloping vehicle when braking - especially nice when in hilly areas and hot days.
It was pretty easy to replace them - make sure you use a "never-seize" compound and take your time.
My 2005 sorrento with 36,000 miles has just eaten it's 2nd set of brakes.
What is going on?
The dealership must read "see me coming" on my forehead.
Is there a better system I can ask for?
Now this is interesting to read all of these posts about brakes and rotors. I have an 04 Sorento bought brand new. It has 105,000 miles on it. And it still has the original brakes pads. The rotors have never been turned. I just pulled the wheels off to check them as the last time I checked them was around 50,000 miles. So I checked them just this morning and they still look to have 70% wear left on them. The rotors are in perfect condition with maybe 1/16 wear on them and no warping. They do not vibrate or rattle, and have been absolutely trouble and virtually maintenance free. Can someone explain that?
Congratulation. You are either the perfect driver, have the perfect truck or both. No, I dought anyone will be able to explain it. I Have an 03 and have put one set of pads, turned rotors once, and am in the process of replacing rotors and pads. Have 110,000 miles on her. When the dealer turned them they evidently got carried away with the lathe and cut to much. The rotors are now at the limit for thickness and I am going to replace all four.
