Arrow 2004 Sorento Rear Door Lock Problem!!

Everytime I go to lock my rear drivers side door it makes this terrible loud buzzing/grinding noise? However, the door does lock? Does anyone know what this is from. Do I need to replace the lock? If so, does someone have DIY or a diagram of how to do this?

The lock is not just given 12v it is pulsed ..that is what you can hear ...strip the door case off and lubricate /check alignment of rods etc

usually the door handle/armrest is screwed on then you start at the bottom and prise the door trim outwards to spring the clips ..then work up the sides and then lift upwards to free the top...you may have to glue the clipsback onto the door trim before you put it back as they move as you work if you dont
