Hi i need some help, i was wondering if anyone else having the same promblems that i do with the power windows. I own a 2003 Sorento Ex. I have the windows power down and then it wouldn't go back up on the left side back and front. I check the window regulator and it would only power down but not up. Is there a transitor or resistor that controls it. I checked all the fuse and their good. THanks.

Master drivers door control gone bad. You said it was a 2003 with no mileage listed. So hard to really say.
The curcuit for the after shutdown power up and down relay is bad. If yours is like mine a 2004 I have 30 sec after shutdown unless i open door and take key out to power up and down any window delay. Yours might have a bad feed to the left side of vech.
The car I own is a 03 Sorento Ex aprx 90000 with lexury pkg. The 30sec delay after shut down still work. What this promblem is that the master control on the right can't open and close the left side of the window, but the left side control (passenger) can only open down the window but not close it back up. I was wondering if there would be a fuse/resistor that make it go up or down. I'm assuming it could be a bad window motor, but I don't want to take the chance of buying one and finding out it's not. THanks
Ah now got better picture. Yours is ASIAN market with right hand drive. Everything runs thru master switch on drivers door weather it is left or right hand drive. So if the master can not open open or close windows on left. And the left had side switchs can only down them but not up. Then you still have a master control drivers door switch problem. If you had up and down on left switchs but none on drivers door then it would just be the drivers door switchs for left. But since you have half use of the passenger side switches then the master control is not giving it full power and is bad. It is not the motor/s since you have down on one switch. Replace master switch. Or trace wires and make sure plug/s are in and tight on switches.
I still need help, I changed the master control switch which i got advise from, but still the window on the passenger side front/rear would not fuction. The passenger side/rear however would fuction only when you press down, but not up. However the rear passenger side went out like 2 months before the front passenger window did. I was wondering if this a motor issue or the passengers window switch promblem? Any help or ideas would be appreciated
You can rule out the motors by removing the switch and applying 12 volts to the wires. I haven't studied the wirng diagram, but one wire should be the ground (earth) and the others will be either up or down. If you connect power on one side of the switch and the window rolls down, connect power to the other side and see if the motor runs to roll the window up.
If the motor runs in both directions, start tracing wires backward to find where the power stops. logical progression and patience are a must.

Just as rj7hills said. But I still do not have full confidence in your parts replacement skills. It still might be the master right side switch. DID you buy a NEW one or get replacement one from another vech that you SAW all the windows go up and down in? Buying someone elses bad (not seen working) switch did not fix it but just recreated it with a bad second switch. Running in circles will not get you helped/fixed when you do not do what is asked.
Thanks sorentolx for the comment, I did however buy a brand new one from the kia website. I will try to test out the motor itself.
Sadley once again you will find that barring an act of god the motor/s are very much not the problem. If a motor works in one direction then it almost always works in teh other. It either does or it does not work. You continually cling to this motor fixation. Do all a favor and trace as you were told the wires. And find out if you get full power to ALL the doors and thier plugs first. Both in the up and down modes. Before tearing into the regulator assy. The traceing will be a two person job with a hand held probe test light. So one person will not cut it before you go and say you did it. Update us in this matter and more can be discounted as bad or not bad.
