Yes as factual as someone relateing a Dealer issue now and not really a KIA CORP issue can be yes. Mine and plenty of other 3.5LV6 Sorento's have had the updated newest ICV recall done. Not the early wrong one nor just the I had the intake replaced (old style intake before recall deal). And very few have had I have seen a replay of it nor the final real deal recall eating an engine or for a second time in here. Hope this logic and factual thinking that your dealer is the issue not the KIA CORP is clear for you now as well. The ICV recall was never a LOUD clicking nor a loss of power issue. You had a slight rattle or clicking similar to a low tone non eng rev valve tap. And if the ICV screws or the intake failed you had no power no nothing! on most all. As the eng eats a value and stops. A few yes do have loud rattle when the screw by act of god gets into a cylinder and is bangin about and beating the piston tops/dome but by sheer luck missing direct hit on a valve. Then the dealer should hear that and see it and unless he is a HALF ASS dealer KNOW what it is right off. If it sounds like a diesel not brain surgury really. Head(if they isolate a side) or heads(if they can not isolate side) come off and screw or bolt or nut or whatever is found where it is. Agian not brain surgury. Yet you do not see this yet again. At 49 I would think you should, but then..... So nothing more can be said to you it seems. Good luck in getting a fix for this vech when the owner and his dealer it seems does not undertand mechanicals and logic. And if you do before you go there. Then this whole posting back and forth on this is insane, as you and he do not show it or anything like it.
And you and a dealer can be jsut as guilty of this behaiour if you owned a Toyota/Nissan/Mazda/Hyundai/Honda/Diahatsu/Suzuki/GM-Deawoo. So what is your excuse now that KIA CORP and its vechs are to blame totally for global warming. But you and a dealer or any dealer are not? Very interested in my mind to KNOW! As I am sure are few others here.
