Hi guys

Well I've gone and ordered a new VW Tiguan with delivery in about 6 weeks so I'll be moving on. The Sorento has done me proud for the last three years and still is without doubt the best bang for your buck in its class but we've only got two of us at home now and don't do much off-road work so have decided to go for a bit of luxury European travel !!!

Drove the Tiguan last week and they're an amazing machine, New Zealand version has 2.0l diesel vgt with 103Kw and 320Nm so no lack of grunt, coupled to a 6 speed auto and every bit of electronic trickery known to man including the fact it parallel parks itself !!!

Ours is coming with an off-road pack that gives it better off-road capability (not as good as Sorento in the real rough stuff though) and a luxury package with all the leather etc etc. Overall it's more "car like" than the Sorento but it's about time these old bones had a bit more luxury.

So, will probably keep an eye on this forum to see what's happening but will be off to a Tiguan forum as well.
