All of that is with the wife driving. I just don't see how you can get much higher numbers. Maybe its an elevation thing with the thinner vs. thicker air?
For the sake of argument lets say TX and SC are the same. Try now 89 oct and not dishwater 87 gas. And after two or more tanks giving the putor time to reset/adjust to better gas see what you come up with. Like I said around town I get 18-19. 350-400miles to tank of 20-21 gals each week.

Light came on to day by chance. By the time I got around to getting there it had 356 miles on the tank. It took @18.56gals rounded up with handle to $75. So it was 19.18mpg on USA 89 OCT.

I've got a Diesel XS (UK) and get about 25 - 28mpg,depending on town driving, or on a run, is that about the average ????
