Question Adding Spotties ~ wiring help needed

Just took delivery of a new 07 Kia Sorento "Global Circuit" EX and want to install a pair of spot-lights to the nudge-bar. I have already mounted the lights, wired them to a 30-a relay...and fitted a switch to the blank-insert on the dash. Behind the dash insert is a connector with 5-wires, but not plugged-in to anything. I am assuming this plug is for 'factory-installed' spot-lights. Rather than run a new wire through the fire-wall, I am hoping that I can use the wires from this un-used connector to complete the wiring to the relay. Can anyone please give me some information on the wiring code and where to find the 'other-end' connector? Or, at least which wire is the 'high-beam' one so that I can run another wire from it to the control relay coil. (This is my first posting). I am a radio technician/engineer, so it will be easy for me to finish the job once I have gained the wiring-harness knowledge. Thanks and happy holiday to all.

There are no factory installed spot lights. Factory fogs have the wiring on the light stalk at steering wheel. The blank you mention may well be the headlamp washer wiring.

Thanks for the info. You must be correct. Possibly you or someone can advise me as to what is the best/easiest way to connect a control wire from the spotty switch to the headlight high-beams?
Is it an earth-switched or 'hot'-switched wire?
Is there any easy way to get a wire through the firewall from the switch to the relay coil?

Can't really help with that one. Since we can only use driving lights with high-beam I just hardwire mine to the high-beam circuit via a relay but without a switch. Should I want to disconnect I pull the fuse! Hella over here sell a wireless remote switch kit which must be the easiest, if not exactly the cheapest, way to go
