Default Petition Husky to make Floor & Cargo liners for Sorento

For those of you who aren't familiar with Husky products, they make the best floor liners I've seen. I have a full complement in my '04 Ford F250 Crewcab and they fit PERFECTLY. And they hold alot of fluid before ever spilling over onto your carpet. After 2 1/2 years of dirty, muddy, and/or wet boots in and out of the truck, my carpet is still immaculate, after vaccuming of course.

So, when I recently bought my wife a new '06 KIA Sorento, I naturally wanted to put in a full compliment of Husky Floor liners and Cargo liner.
However they don't make liners for this model. I called to ask if they'd considered producing liners for this model, but the said that they have not seen evidence of enough demand for this model to justify the set-up costs for the molds.

So if you are interested in really good floor and cargo liners, then email Husky and let them know that the demand is there to justify the production costs.

Well, mine didn't come with a cargo liner. It's an option I can pay extra for. Regardless, since when do after-market accessories manufacturers let such a thing stand in their way.

As for front Husky Floor Liners for the Sorento, I have yet to see those.

Don't suppose you bothered to ask how many sets (demand) would be needed to justify the set up cost?

It does list them on the husky website BUT you go to one of the retailers websites all searchs come up with "not available" that's for an 06 model . I just ended up getting some nice clear rubbermaid mats at Target.

Yeah, but I got no specific number they just said that they periodically review requests to determine what new models to set up for.

weathertech has both the floor mats, ($55) and the cargo liner ($99) for the Sorie on their website.......I have used their products in the past and highly recommend them

Yes it looks like WeatherTech has the best to offer right now for floormats and cargo liners. If Husky ultimately refuses to produce Sorento liners, then I'll just have to settle for WeatherTech. To WeatherTech's credit, I must say that their cargo liner looks quite adequate. It's the floor liners that I really want from Husky. I don't think the floor liners in my F250 can be beat by any other on the market.
