There is a model exclusive to Sweden called the executive, the one pictured above is the 07 model. The 06 only has Different center caps on the wheels, 06 lx has differnt alloy wheels, and te KIA badge on the rear gate changed.

hi princess.

No this was "ex kia" direct.- not customized-And in fact - kia were also presenting the SAME model at a local show. Very puzzled ??. It was a crdi
engined one - and look fantastic in black with the rear windows blacked out. - price was 34000 euros taxes included- see how they make us Europeans pay for you Americans !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean you can pick up a sorento in the states for under 23000 $- thats infact about 18000 euros- and thats a base model. Not fair, coupled with cheap gas. Mind you - you do have George Bush to contend with!!!!!!!

eupa--- I'm afraid to tell you what I actually paid for my Sorie. You'll really feel bad then. It was $15,987.00 USD for a '05 loaded EX 2 wheel drive. SORRY. Don't know what's up with them showing it at the local show. All I can say is move here. The dark windows are standard equipment.

coming over quick.....

However apart from the Sorento , we do have
- good beer
- fantastic chocolate
- real bread
-"free "health care

I often come over, and must admit I love the US- but would like to have a desert to myself with an old hangar ( must have runnng water and ADSL) Would then have a fleet of soros. Truthfully, the sorento is a joy to own. Had miine a little over a year and every ride is a joy. Use to have a Audie A6 - that was just a load of crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Suppose they will moderate this off!!!!!. What did Marcel Dassault say about looks??- if it looks good - it flies good.

The sorento still doesn't have dual A/C for the rear passengers. Nothin revolutionary just somethin evolutionary.

Hello All, I have just been reading about the new for 07 Sorento coming this fall in 2006 the New Sorento will have the 262 hp and 260 torque 3.8liter motor in it. I was glad to hear they finally dropped the big motor into it but as i read they Dropped the manual transmission from the line up. To me that is a mistake why would a person want a good 4x4 and back it with a automatic tranny. I waited to trade to the Sorento becuase of the new motor and I really liked the sorento with the manual shift 4x4 but wanted the bigger motor then they go and drop the manual shift what good is it getting the LX when the only differences now are the body stuff and big whoop on the luxury package with the TOD 4 wheel drive. Anyway thanks for letting me vent :-) I may now have to get a different 4x4 one with a manual shift. have a great day all

Why? Because auto transmission IS better off road. Try a new Range Rover with auto off road and you will see why.
