Driven a couple now, the front and rear ends are retyled, much cleaner look in the flesh, the new black interior for XT models is a very nice touch.
Dash is higher quality finish, more tactile feeling, new vgt diesel is a stormer, much quieter, and very responsive, rides much much better, less crashy, and steering feels sharper.

That's the point, the LED's are brighter when braking. When you are not on the brakes, the LED's are inoffensive to following cars.

LED's may be more expensive but they last longer, use less electricity, and light up much faster than conventional incandescent bulbs.

Hmph !!! I have just taken delivery of one of these in the UK, Drives well and has loads of power.... now for the slagging match !!! I was back to the shop within a day, SatNav/Radio unit resets to Dutch and Time Zone GMT +2 and all other setting gone, cannot store address in the Address Book, in other words Factory Rests the damb thing every time I remove the ignition key, Dealer says the unit is faulty and will order a new unit and call me back, 8 days later still no call.

Called the dealer, they cant remember my vehicle and swear blind they dont have an outstanding order for a new unit ??? Phone Kia "Customer Services" (SIC) they can do nothing about it 'cept put me through to the idiot at the dealer ??? Good old Kia UK, announce a new Customer Service Initiative and fail to deliver !!!! If anyone asked me about buying a Kia I would advise them not to as the service levels are poor and they seem to have little or no initative !!!

Sounds like they have the 2 power wires incorrectly fitted.
5 min job to fix.

Default Global Circuit 2007 EX model

Took delivery of the new 07 "Global Circuit" limited edition [400 only to be made] EX a few days ago. I drove it 1,200-km within the first 24-hours! After reading most of the Sorento postings, I have come to an early opinion that KIA have 'got it right' this time (at least for some of us). Restyled front-end, new dash, quiet ride, low price considering what you get. The MP3/CD player sounds terrific on both types. The DVD with infra-red headphones is a great addition (for the kids). It's roomier inside that it looks from the outside. On the 1200km trip I managed 9km/L (or 10L/100km)...and that is better than specified.

Will made a more detailed report after a few months on-road.

Am not a mechanic or mechanical engineer, but, will try to answer any questions on this model if I can.

I just hope that when they re design the Sorie, they don't take away any of its good off -road ability and make it more car like. As in the new Santa Fe or Vera Cruz from hyundai.

I am interested in a Kia Sorrento to buy brand new in the Philippines, which we intend to use when we visit. Can someone please tell me how much it would cost in Philippine pesos? Thank you for your response, emyace
