yep the new autos are better off road than manuals, the so-called he-men don't believe it till they try it and then they get the shock of their lives. Autos with manual override (sportshift or whatever) are GREAT offroad and minimise drive train damage as well cos they take the shock out of the system.

Cheers

Derek

PS I know heaps of people disagree with this BUT I've been convinced over the years having changed from manual to full auto and now auto 5 speed with sportshift. To me there's no comparison, I won't have a manual again.

eupa--- I'm afraid to tell you what I actually paid for my Sorie. You'll really feel bad then. It was $15,987.00 USD for a '05 loaded EX 2 wheel drive. SORRY. Don't know what's up with them showing it at the local show. All I can say is move here. The dark windows are standard equipment.
Doctruptwn.....
Did you pay that for a NEW Ex? I was shopping for a new LX today and it was alot more than that. How did you ever get it for that little?

I believe someone noticed Sorento's tail lamp has changed from circle bulb light to 'LEDs' which costs more.

(Aren't those LED cars look tooooo bright in the nigh time?)

Default New Sorento Launch

The latest Sorento commercial showing the 2007 model looks really great. I like that video portion showing the latest Sorento with all wheels spinning in the mud. Looks awesome.

Thumbs up

Had a look at the pics of the 2007 Sorento. I can't see a difference on the outside compared to my 05 diesel. The dash is a little different but I prefer the old one more. I think the 2007 is just a mild facelift which is a good thing as it is already a superb suv. One thing I realy like is the promise of more powerfull engines especially the diesels. But whats with the claim in repect to reshaped front seat backs they look the same to me.
Regards
Peter
