Steering wheel stereo controls

I just bought a new Kia Sorento EX 3.5L A/T but the car was not equipped with “Steering wheel stereo controls”. Is it possible I buy the item and get it fixed on the car?

The steering remote unit is available at around £35 sterling. However, it will only talk to audio equipment made by Bontec which is a wholly owned sub. of Hyundai/Kia. Therefore if you have anything but the oem stuff fitted it will be of little use.
