Question Locking Mechanism
I have a 1999 Kia Sephia as some people on here already know, and I have an issue with my passengers front door. The problem I am having is, I can lock the door from the outside, but I can't un-lock it. So a few weeks ago I tore apart the door to replace the locking mechanism I had gotten from a junkyard, and STILL DOES NOT WORK!


Any Ideas?

Best to disconnect the linkages from the lock and see if that rotates both ways with ease then see what in the linkage is binding up.
Take a picture of the working parts and lets see if we can spot something you've overlooked.

ok, so i disconnected it like you said, and everything moves freely... pics won't transfer into my computer though..
