cooling fan relay

The clerk at Auto Zone removed both relays from my fuse box to cross ref #'s. He could not remember the direction they should be plugged back in. Cooling fan relay and the Condenser fan relay. The relays are the same and have a small notch on one of the four corners. (top side of relay)
Any one know the proper direction to plug them back in? They will go either way-but I dont want to risk blowing something else. It's a 1999 Kia Sephia.

i have a 2001 sephia and the notch on the cond relay is pointing toward the
front passenger side of car. the cooling fan relay notch is pointing to the
rear driver side of car. hope this helps.
