Default 94 Kia Sephia Dies when put into Gear

Hi I am new here and any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a 94 Kia Sephia and out of no where it just died one day after ward I noticed that I could start it and it would run and idle just fine while it was in park or neutral but as soon as I put it into drive or reverse it would die immediately, I also noticed that I could idel it way up by pressing the accelerator and then throw it into drive really quickly and it would stay running as long as I was moving with the car then I could press the brake and stop and it would stay running for around 10 seconds then die again..

Anyone have any ideas about this? I have read other posts talkin about the ISC valve being the culprite if this is what you think could you give me an idea of where it is located?

Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

You're right, it does sound like a problem with the ISC, which cleaning with carb cleaner most often cures.

Take a look at the web site in my sig and you'll find all the info you need and where it's located on the throttle body.
