I have a 2001 Kia Sephia with 39k and its leaking fuel from the Pulsation damper .
Has anyone ever replaced one or should I just let the dealer do the work ?

It's quite easy to replace - you may just need the seals.

I note that the Kia Parts site refers to this as :
4 0K2A5 20180A DAMPER-PULSATION 1 $44.20

Kia Online Parts and Accessories Catalog

BTW. There is also a fuel pressure regulator at the fuel pump, but I haven't heard of that one giving trouble.

The one in the picture looks a little different to mine - mine has a vacuum connection and a hose for the fuel return, and based on the vacuum will either increase or decrease the rail pressure.
High vacuum during idle and deceleration = lower rail pressure.

For this reason I've always referred to it as the fuel pressure regulator.

Ron us spec sephias are returnless systems. That is why there is no vacuum.
