Default 99 Sephia dim lights when cold

When starting my 99 Sephia in the morning, both the dash lights and headlights are dim - maybe 50% of their normal strength. After about 1 minute they come on to full strength. Could it be a loose, or bad wire or connection? Thanks

Could be check all the connections to the battery. I would also suggest getting your battery tested. It could be on its way out.. And while your there you should just go ahead and test the alt..

Voltage regulator on the alternator may be going out. Mine kept frying the batteries, but it was doing what you described about half the time.. I'd check the battery and the alternator like ford guy said...
