cuz i can get my codes read from a diagnostic test and the diagnostic codes show nothing but electrical. i've been told by a mechanic that it was prolly taken out before i was sold the car or it's blown

Put a new bulb in it. Just take out the cluster and on back is where you access the bulb. Not good to run without a cel and not know if there is anythig wrong with the car. SOmetimes you can get a cel and have no symtoms, but you could be doing damage at the same time..
