Default please help a new guy out

i have a 97 sephia (recently purchased) that has started giving me trouble acting like its running out of gas. while driving at times the car will stall and if i push the clutch in and turn it off and restart the car it will go about 500 or 600 feet and stall again. the car does not do this everytime i drive it just in spells well today on my way home from work i was about half way into my 30 mile drive when the car started stalling again, with plenty of fuel i still stopped and added more fuel, i let the car cool for about 30 minutes and drove it home with no problems any info would be greatly appreciated.....thanks scott

Welcome to the forum.

Most often its an inline fuel filter thats long overdue for a change, or fuel pump suction strainer blocked, or bad fuel pump, or even a bad connection or ground on the fuel pump, or a bad fuel pump relay, or bad fuel pressure regulator.

The fact that it's intermittent would make it unlikely to be a bad pump.

The access to the pump is right under the rear seat. There are two latches on the front/underneath the seat you have to push in order to lift the seat.
