Default How to Recharge my AC (98' Sephia)

How do I recharge my ac? I have looked all over the place and can not find where to connect the bottle under the hood. I am sure I am just overlooking it, but I can't find it.

Thanks

I believe its on the right hand side. there should be a metal pipe with a little black piece on it. Take the black piece off which is a dust cover and under it is the place where you can connect the recharge bottle to it. atleast its that way on my 2000 Sephia

Careful with that bottle. You can easily overfill your system which can, amongst other things, prevent proper control of the coolant. You'll destroy it's ability to cool the air properly.

If youve got a leak, you should get it fixed. If you just need a top off because of the standard bleed of the system, make sure you check the pressure to be within specs.

It really is best to have a service done because they will flush the system, purge any air (which will have gotten if you have an actual leak) and get you going right.

It's only about $90 to have this done.
