Kia Picanto 2006

Hi,

I purchased a Kia Picanto OPC car on the last day of the last year, 1st and 2nd days of driving with so much pleasure with super cold air-con. From 2nd day onwards the cooling is dropped bit by bit each day and yesterday there was no more cold air.

I brought my car to the workshop and was being told by the workshop man as it is a Aircon compressor magnetic clutch problem and needs to repair it. It is quoted S$440 for just repairing it. (not replace it with the new one)

I feel it is a sky high price.
Anyone encounter such problems before, any good workshop can tackle this problem with reasonable price?
