Default Car chugging?????????

My car has been chugging for a while now, my filters have been checked including my exhaust. I have serviced the car with 3 different mechanics and the car is still chugging whilst accelerating. To me it feels like the back of the car, there is also a squeling noise coming from the car and my engine check light keeps flickering? can anyone advise what might be happening?

Welcome to the KIA forums. A lot of things can cause symptoms like your car has. Have the mechanics read the codes on the car? That can help pinpoint where to look. IT could be something simple like a coil or plug misfiring or loose or cracked vacuum hose.. EGR valve problems can also give chugging on acceleration. What parts if any have already been replaced ?Does the car idle smoothly?, more detail will help forum members help you more easily. Get the squealing noise checked out as soon as you can. it may be a sign of a timing belt problem if from belt area. Has your timing belt been changed on schedule? Also please fill in your user profile in the user cp section, I see you are in Northern Ireland by your IP adress but if your profile is filled in it helps forum members to help youmore easily.

TAKE YOUR TIME, THINK IT OUT, DO IT RIGHT, DO IT ONCE!! original quote by me as far as I know.

what year is your car?
there has been a recall to replace a bolt
don't know what years it affects pre 2007, 2006, (cant remember) that are affected

search for kia picanto broken crankshaft bolt

it's a good idea to check if your car, is affected by the recall, and had the bolt changed.
symptons of the broken crankshaft bolt, are shuddering, and not accelerating well

if your car is built after 2007, you are probably save , and this doesn't apply
