Default Boot space

Heya, so, i'm thinking of buying a Kia Picanto. I heard it's a good car, but that the boot is too small. Now, I read several reviews that the boot was so small that you couldn't fit a spare tyre in the car. However, I read one review that said that although the boot seems small, if you lift up what would be the base of the boot, there is even more space to fit stuff like maps, tools and a spare wheel. The reviews seem to contradict each other, so I was wondering is there extra space under the boot to fit a spare tyre or not?

Hi
There is room under the floor of the boot for a spare wheel. In fact the basic Picanto comes with a spare wheel I believe but the higher spec models don't - they have a pump and some tyre sealant!
When my daughter bought her Picanto 3 recently she asked for a spare wheel to be included, this fitted nicely in the appropriate space in the boot.

I think all pica's have a specially designed spare tire that is quite small and thinner than regular tires. It is designed to fit the small room under the boot.. these tires though are limited to 80kph speed for safety reasons... i hope u r convinced..

There is room for a normal full size spare wheel and tyre if you want one.
My daughter has one in her boot and it fits perfectly.
