Thumbs up 3 weeks with the Picanto

....well, so far, love it.
Kate seems to be getting on with it really well...ideal for the school run with little-un (also where she works) and quick trips to the shops for odds & sods. Especially on these thin Norfolk roads.

I`ve just driven it to work as I`m on nights this week, covered 50 miles and must say I too am happy that we got it. Seems quite a hard ride but so`s my Pro-Ceed, which doesn`t bother me in the slightest, I like the sporty feel of it rather than like in the old Fiat - leaning around every bend praying the car would stay up-right lol.

Not quite as pokey as I thought it would be coming from a 950cc engined fiat but it`s only covered 150 miles so taking it easy of course, maybe it will get better in time......maybe I`m expecting too much as the 1.6 (115bhp) I`ve got really drives well. Don`t miss my 2.2 Vectra at all.

Hope your all having as much joy with your Picanto`s as we are.

Fuel consumption varies a lot depending upon whether you have a manual or automatic, the way you drive, the weather and the other 'loads' put on the engine (extra wieght, fan on, lights on, air con on, windows open).
I've been getting between 17-18 km/litre from my 1.1 LS petrol manual.

You may want to check the tyre pressures - mine were all at around 40-42psi when it states in the book and on the sil they should be 32!!!

Hence i now have a less choppy ride and feels less like my old 2.6 vectra.
