Exclamation Problem with elec windows, remote central locking, interior lights and clock

Hi

I own a 2006 kia picanto 1.0l ex version. My dad recently replaced the roof aerial by removing the interior light. Something must have gone wrong! I now have no working remote central locking, central locking, electric windows or interior lights. The clock also resets itself to 1.00 each time the ignition is started. Has anyone else had this problem? We have checked the fuses in the drivers footwell and under the bonnet. All of them are working OK.. Saw on the Sedona forum someone having a similar problem and a solution mentioned the ETAC unit. Is there one of these in the Picanto. If So, where is it located???

Please Help! Ireland is getting warmer coming into Summer and I can't open my windows and dont have a/c or sunroof!!!

Thanks
Ciara

there is a fuse/relay box near the engine simple enough, find the blown fuse and replace it with one of the spares, couldn't be anything else really. there is a list of which fuse controls what not on the back of the cover if you cant find the correct fuse there, there is another set of fuses under the steering wheel by the little storage compartment if its not in the fuse/relay box by the engine it will be in the pull out by there

hi,I had exactly the same problem as this after a garage had removed the ariel and interior light to respray the roof. When refitting the interior light they managed to refit it wrong way round causing a short circuit to blow a fuse,I only found this out after driving the car home and trying to lock it.The interior light fits in place regardless of which way round it is fitted but only one way is correct. As i say the fault is exactly the same as the one I had ,just changed the light round and replaced the fuse .Good luck.
