Question Windscreen Washer Failure

I have a 2006 Picanto 1.0 GS, ( 25000 miles and counting) it has needed 2 replacement water bottles and motors already. The symptoms are water jets not providing water at the usual pressure so only wash base of windscreen, motor sounds as if it is working normally. I will soon need no3,supplying dealer has been excellent with this warranty work. Has anyone had the same problem or know the reason for this. My first Picanto 1.0 GS 2005 did not suffer this problem during its 10,000 mile life ( written off in accident)

Maybe because the parts are MADE IN CHINA / KOREA !! My Picanto has all manner of failing components that other main stream vehicles I have owned never failed. I must admit there logo " Kia - has the power to surprise " is very true, but for the wrong reasons. A real shame as I really hoped that they were at least as good as the main stream brands.

Default washers

hi when i first started to grumble about my picanto on this site { driving school car 54 plate se with 86 thousand on clock } evry one said oh its just abused but as milages creep up your all getting same problems .. any way the window washers common prob happens all time , all it takes isa bit of grit in your bottle and it blocks the motor ,it still works but dribbles , cure , lift bonnet , disconect rubber tube at the plastic elbow , now blow down it hard into the bottle , when it starts to bubble its cleared ,cheers swampduck

i had this problem with mine it had no pressure but the motor was working ok. i noticed that when i had the bonnet up it worked fine the problem with mine was the pipe going to the jets on the bonnet kinked when you closed it so i unclipped the pipe and now it woks fine.
