Sticky gearbox - esp second gear?

Just bought a new Kia Picanto two months ago and done around 2000 miles already!

SO far so good , but just think the gearbox is a bit sticky/ clunky esp when going from first to second that causes me to lurch a bit following a gear change. Its like a 'click' (almost as if Ive not pressed the clutch fully down) and am worried I am damaging the gearbox

Is this a common problem?

hi mines done 830000 now and yes unfortunatly the gearbox is horrible nearly as bad as its clutch sorry to give bad news swampduck
