Default windshield washer reservoir leak picanto fl

Hello to everybody,

I have a 2 months old picanto fl , while i'am cleaning the engine compartment, i noticed a water leak under the elbow of the windshield water reservoir.I brougth to KIA dealer for repair but told to me that it is normal, they told me that i must not fill the tank until the level of the elbow where there is a leak, and if that will be the case it is not easy to see the level of water in it.

I think KIA will not design a reservoir with leaking joints when the water level reaches the elbow where we refill the reservoir.

Is there somebody who has this problem also

Yes my new shape picanto ice has the same fault, the problem is that the neck connects horizontally into the bottle in the wing. Bad design. It will always leak as the joint is horizontal. My dealer offered to fit a new bottle but I declined as it will make no difference. I now just dont fill up to the very top
